The docudrama places Germany’s Chancellor Merkel at the focal point of the dramatic events and takes a glimpse inside the back rooms of the powerful, who make their decisions, caught in the vice between political responsibility and the relentless events of an exceptional situation. The film reconstructs the 63 days before Angela Merkel reaches her key decision to steer the refugee policy.
